He got in!

I'm so proud of this guy! We found out on Monday that he got into the Advertising Program at BYU! He worked really hard on his portfolio to get in and definitely took the time to make sure that he got in! And he did! :) I'm so lucky to be his wife :)

Neighbors, People, And Things

Husband is working out. I'm sitting on my little bum. Its a regular thing these days. Ok for the past couple days. School is taking up all my time and since its online...it means me sitting on a computer for hours. The neighbors behind the kitchen are yelling at each other again. I hear them every couple days. Literally yelling. I mean..the walls aren't very thick..but they are YELLING. Thankfully I have a husband that couldn't raise his voice at me even if he tried. I swear if I try being mad at him he just tells me how he loves me. He's the best. They yell so loud over there. I hope that they are alright and can fix their issues.

Tonight I'm missing certain things. certain people.

Like my sissy. We talked today on the phone. She's having some cool adventures over there but I asked if Iran could bomb Israel so that she could come home. She said she wouldn't be to happy about that but if it did happen that she hopes she gets a refund. Have you seen her cool muslim getup? She's like a terrorist waiting to happen in those clothes....:) thats a joke :)

Sandals. Summer warmth. Its never really gotten to be winter to much here but I still am missing that warm summer heat. And sandals. Boots can get really old if you ask me. I love everything that summer entails. Please come soon summer.

Just two of the thoughts on my mind. Husband. Please come back soon. The neighbors are scaring me. Seriously I almost want to go over there and see if everything is ok....of course I won't. But I hope they can work things out :/

I love you.

I love you Seattle. We can't wait to be back with you this summer. We will see you soon. And we can't wait!
isn't she beautiful?
If you didn't know yet...Brock is doing an internship and I am going to be nanny a few days a week this summer. Can't wait.

Mondays and Friends.

I swear on Monday's Brock and I do homework all stupid day. Ok actually I feel like I am doing homework all time. But its my last semester and I can do anything for one more semester. Some days it feels like its never going to end though. But for me it will...Brock on the other hand still has a while!! :/ Poor boy!

Monday's have always been a drag. But lately there has been something fun that I've been doing on Monday's. Grocery shopping. I know, its not normally something that fun...but my best friend Abbey and I have been grocery shopping together since we got married for most monday's that we can. And really...its a lot of fun. Some mondays we get to go out to lunch after but like today we just went shopping and that was that.
little girls
Abbey has always been one of my greatest friends. Actually I would say she is the best friend I have ever had. And now our husbands are good friends too. Its probably the best situation I could ever imagine. Before Brock got home from his mission we would always says how they were going to be friends but they really are now. We do dinners every week with them and I couldn't imagine life without these guys.

friends.

Catching Up!

Sorry I'm awful at blogging. I used to get all high and mighty with my sister-in-law about how she never blogged and how she needed to be better at it. This was when Brock was on his mission and I of course had nothing better to do than blog about how I missed him. Now that we are married...I swear its like I just don't have any time to blog. When I'm not working..its school, or him that I am spending my time on. Or cooking..cleaning..watching our favorite shows..you know. Blogging? Not on our priority list. But I've made it a new priority to start blogging again. Hopefully it happens because I am taking a full load of credits for school online and working full time. To say life won't be a little bit crazy is an understatement.

Did I say Happy New Year yet!? I have a feeling that 2012 is going to be fabulous! :) We brought in the new year....sleeping. I had to work new years and new years eve so therefore we slept. And I said happy new years to Brock at 4 in the morning when I woke up for work that morning :) Oh and guess what? I got a new job! In Provo! I am VERY excited and VERY nervous. I was really comfortable at the veterans home but it was becoming so stressful driving an hour there and back. I am going to be doing pediatric home health here in provo and just had orientation the past two days. I'm freaked out by the idea of this job but hopefully I like it. It should be really different but thats whats awesome about nursing is there is so many things that you can do with it. I think I will like it once I am used to it! But we are in Provo full time now. Its only been a week and things are already less stressful. Its just nice to be in one place.

Christmas this year was pretty crazy..and great! It was our first married Christmas and we both had both of our families in Seattle so we decided to split the time between families which was pretty insane! It worked out pretty well in the end and we got to spend a lot of time with both families. Probably the best part was seeing our nieces and nephews. We LOVE those little kids and miss them so much when we are in Utah! Las margaritas was of course amazing and so was burger master and teriyaki. It was just good to spend time with family and have a nice break! :) We played games, had a fire, power went out on christmas day, mom got sick, ate a lot, opened presents, ate again...you get the picture! It was a blast :) Christmas is my favorite time of the year and it was awesome to be married this year and spend time with Brock and both our families ;)

Grateful

I got my wisdom teeth out this weekend. It was rough. And I've been in a lot of pain. But I am reminded every day that I am the luckiest girl alive. I have a sweet husband that would do anything for me. And I mean anything. Since I got my wisdom teeth out he has said to me every night before we go to bed.."if you need anything you wake me up. I don't care what it is just wake me up" He's amazing. and treats me better than I could have ever hoped for. So in this month of thanksgiving...I'm grateful for him. And all he does for me. I couldn't ask for more :)

Honeymoon

So I know I haven't blogged in forever...but blogger and I were in a fight. See, I blogged all about our honeymoon and then blogger just froze on me and it all got erased. And I got ticked. Hence I haven't blogged in forever..but I feel guilty. So I'm going to try the whole honeymoon post again.

Our honeymoon was a quick one. A total blast and worth it though if you ask us. Because of Brock's school we had to do a quick little five day honeymoon in Hawaii and then fly right back...ok so it was more like 4 days with the traveling. It was crazy! From wedding to reception to Hawaii to seattle for another reception and then drive back to Utah for school and work. To say we were exhausted after all of that was an understatement. But the honeymoon....Hawaii...amazing. So heres the low down on the honeymoon :)

Day 1 (Sunday): We had a crazy flight from Salt Lake to LA then to Honolulu. In LA we ate at chili's in the airport and had chips and salsa and drinks...that was it for dinner. Kami and Ben (my favorite oahu family) met us at the airport and gave us one of their cars for the time we were there. So sweet of them...saved us so much money! Then it was off to the resort. We stayed at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club. Its beyond beautiful. Once we got all settled in..it was about 11 at night..I realized that I was starving! So we called around to see what was open...what did we find...mcdonalds. So we ate a bit..and passed out!
at the airport
Day 2 (Monday): Monday was our relaxing day. We decided not to plan a thing and just hang out at the resort and just relax. We went to the pool and the beach...ate some hawaiian plate lunch and just hung out with each other. It was a little bit cloudy that day so we hung out at the hot tub quite a bit. Then that night we decided to head into Waikiki and eat a nice dinner. We ate at dukes...so good! Then we went and shopped around at the International Market Place. Brock brought me a Hawaiian ring to replace the one that I lost :) It was a fun night!
dukes
Day 3 (Tuesday): Tuesday we hit up the North Shore. It was like being back at home for me :) We first stops at Ted's Bakery (aka best place on the island) to eat lunch. Then we went and did a session at the beautiful Laie temple. It was amazing going to that temple as a newly married couple. Afterwards we did a drive on the coast of the North Shore..We went to the park by Chinamens hat and just played around. Then we went to the night show at the PCC. It was a blast! It was a good reminiscing day for me and it was great to be able to show Brock everything that I used to do!
beautiful laie temple
Day 4 (Wednesday): Our last full day on the island! We decided to make this another north shore day. We stopped at the pinneapple plantation on our way up and ate some pineapple ice cream! Then we went to eat lunch with Kami and Ben and the boys! It was so good catching up with them! They were like a second family to me so it was good to be able to have Brock get to know them a little better! Then we headed up to Waimea (best beach on the island) and Brock jumped off the rock and we just had a good time relaxing and playing in the sand! When we got back to the hotel we ate at a nice restaurant called Chucks Steakhouse and really went all out because my parents had sent us a gift card to there. It was an amazing sunset and some amazing food!
waimea :)
Day 5 (Thursday): We packed up and saw our last bit of Hawaiian sun! :( Kami took us to that airport and we said goodbye to our Hawaiian paradise. We flew into L.A. and had a layover overnight there. Luckily we got to stay in a beautiful marriott there and had one last night of our honeymoon. We ate at a burger place at the hotel and were just exhausted from all the traveling. We got up the next morning at 4 to catch our flight and make it back for our Seattle reception!
